Thanks to a protective rubber coating you can use tools, cut HardTubes, tighten and loosen water cooling fittings and mod without fear of injury. They also help to protect the hands against heat for a short against heat when bending HardTubes and from sharp shards when cutting metals and borosilicate glass tubes.
